How does media affects to people?


Mass communication is the process of creating shared meaning between the mass media and audiences. The media so fully saturated our everyday lives that we may often unconscious of their presence, not to mention their influence. Media uniform us , dlight us, and even annoy us. They move our emotions, challege our intellects or even insult our intellects. Communication is a symboic process whereby reality is produced, maintained, repaired and transformed. And because of this n ew technology in the field of communication, the existence of media culture are so influencial and become the way of life today. Culture is learned socially acquired, traditions and lifestyle of a society.Creation and maintewnace of a more or less common culture occurs through communication, including the mass communication. When we talk to our friends; when a parents raises a children; when teachers teach; when politician campaign; when media professionals produce content we read, listen and watch meanings are being sharedand culture being construct and maintained. The media has great influence to the culure of people nowadays especially rto the children and youth.
It is very important the viewers to be wise enough in choosing the media programs which are beneficial and improved the personaluty of human. In todays generation the behavior and beliefs of people and affected by whta the medis portrayed and viewed. We should remember that not all the media showed are true and good.
